An initial treatment may take up to an hour and a half, sometimes more, thus enabling a full client history, the treatment and post treatment advice. 
Thereafter treatments usually last approximately one hour. ​

Lucy is a qualified Trigger Point Therapist, having studied the William Huhn Method of Trigger Point Therapy to its highest level.  She completed the Introductory and Level 1 Certification in Mougins, France in 2012 and continued to log several hundreds of hours of home-study and applied practice whilst aiming for Level 2.  This was passed with William Huhn in Canada in May 2014.  A third visit to Canada in April 2015 saw completion of her certification for Approved Educator, the highest level attainable to date with William Huhn and which certifies her for teaching this method of Trigger Point Therapy to others.  

Lucy continues to return to Canada annually for refresher courses with William Huhn while discussing patient case studies and any new developments that may be beneficial to Trigger Point Therapy.  For more information on the William Huhn method please visit -  www.triggerpoint.ca 

Ten years in Switzerland (2008-1018) gave Lucy the opportunity to build up a thriving practice of clients, treatment based on the WH Method (see above). With recent relocation back to the UK last year, (August 2018) Lucy has started to rebuild her client base in her new home in Somerset.  She continues to return to Switzerland for Trigger Point Therapy clinics with her established patients which is perhaps a testimony to the efficacy of the treatment.

Following the William Huhn Method of Trigger Point Bodywork means that Lucy follows William's protocol on Trigger Point Therapy. This is crucial when treating patients for only with the correct protocol will there be satisfactory results. William himself subscribes to the protocol of Travell and Simons all of which has been extensively researched. He insists that all those who learn with him and follow the Level 1 and 2 courses of certification have a thorough understanding of the fundamentals of Travell and Simons.
